I had the canopies apart for replacement so it was worth while doing while it was all in pieces. Can't say it would be impossible to do without taking the canopy apart but it will be harder. I replaced the wire with 3/16" wire cable from the local hardware store. I then crimped new ends on and trimmed them. While I had the latch apart I readjusted the tension and the overhead ball pull now lifts the latch pin nicely. I'll see if I have some pictures on my phone I can let you see the end result. I have one and I'm converting to a B&C alternator. Looks like the way the JYT-1 is set up its pretty much just a matter of con necting the canon plug wires to the right pins on the B&C LS-1A regulator. But any information would be helpful. Doug sells the JTY-1 with a "convers ion kit" -- anybody ever done that? Thought I'd check here before bugging Doug too much. Thanks, Jon ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 10:23:30 PM PST US Subject: Yak-List: Nanchang Parts Manuals From: "glipaz" Already posted on FB: Looking for a set of Nanchang Parts manuals with English translations. But, there are two versions of these, one set with the English below the Chinese and one set with the English beside the Chinese. Looking for PDFs of the latter as they have significantly fewer pages to print into a hard copy.
