If you remove the starting coil wire from the unit and deplete all the air
forward of the main air valve (OFF) by squeezing the brake handle until yo
u no longer hear air =9Cwhishing=9D when you release the brake
handle, the engine will not rotate or start when you press the start button
to see if the points are =9Carcing=9D when the start button is
pressed.

For reasons beyond the scope of this discussion =F0=9F=99=82 I just happen
to have a new ZKC-5 circuit breaker switch from Doug, which is exactly what
the IGN switch is.
Previously I'd turned the switch on but hadn't pressed the start button. T
oday was the first press of the start button. I heard the shower of sparks
buzz just before the circuit breaker popped.
So, the plan is:
1. Replace the circuit breaker
2. Disconnect the two canon plugs to the shower of sparks 2Q and start sole
noid 3Q
3. Press the start button and see if that causes the breaker to pop (bad ca
non plug somewhere maybe, wiring issue)
4. Connect the 3Q canon plug and see if that makes it pop
5. Connect the 2Q canon plug and see if that makes it pop
What would make a shower of sparks "go bad"?
Is a new shower of sparks "impossible to find" as I've heard?

Bad circuit breaker. Start there.
I=99m guessing they are switch circuit breakers?
