Subject: Re: Yak-18T Mystery Mechanism Hi, On aircraft with electrically operated gear, there is a "squat switch" on one leg which stops accidental retraction on the ground only allowing retraction when the weight is off the leg. What you are describing sounds very like a squat switch but with an air operated system - I can't see how could it work? Someone out there will know!
