M-14P. Had a v530 prop. in ground runup, the prop cycled fine per the book to 50%. In flight I could not get RPMs below around 2000rpm (70%). Have now installed MT 3-blade prop and MT upgraded the governor to produce higher pressure per their recommendation. Having same issue with the new prop. Ground run cycles down, but in flight it won't go below 70%. Also, in a steep descent, the RPM's will increase slightly. Anybody had this experience? Does the RPM decrease or stay at 2000? Any insights on this?
