Subject: | Primer handle squeaky/not smooth |
I recently replaced the o-ring for the primer handle and it's not very smooth to
pump. I read somewhere that someone lubed their o-ring prior to installation?
Any recommendations?

The reason it squeaks is because the o-ring is dry. You could very
lightly lube it with Fuel Lube which is impervious to fuel and oil.
Available from Aircraft Spruce. A 1 lb can will last the rest of your life.

You mean like EZ-Turn? A can of that is magic. Just the right stickiness to hold
washers and bolts onto your fingers while you get your hand into the aircrafts
nether regions.
