Subject: | Cracked oil temperature probe housing |
Hello,
We have found a crack in our Yak-52's oil temp probe housing causing a relatively
significant leak. Nothing dangerous but we want to keep things tidy after a
recent engine change. We tried to repair the part by welding it but it didn't
work.
Anyone know where to find replacement spares for those housings ?
Regards,
Penco

We can certainly supply any part for the M 14 engine but to be absolutely sure,
could I ask you to send us the part number or a photograph of the existing housing.

I assume its kind of brown color triangle shape metal can with two oil temperature
probs and inlet and outlet ports.
This would be a yak airframe part not a M14 engine part. They are prone to cracking.
I will check our spares.
