Yak-52 Avionics Upgrade Options

      In recent years the directional gyro and attitude indicators in my Yak-52 have
      started to wander a bit. The attitude indicator has gotten significantly worse
      over the past year, and now the directional gyro is wandering.
      
      I can't really complain, the aircraft is over 40 years old and the instruments
      are probably original. But I'm not expecting the local sparkies to be able to
      repair it.
      
      I'm thinking of replacing the AI and DG with modern units such as a G5. Has anyone
      done this conversion, or have any other suggestions for replacements? 
      
      Moving map would be nice, but to be honest the only Nav I do these days can be
      done with a compass and stopwatch.
