Dear all,for the gentlemen not involved in the socials, here's the report of Mr. Michael Peters after the installation of the new blades on stock engine . Enjoy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This prop makes the CJ with a stock engine a different bird. >From taxi speed on. At run up when I cycled the prop the brakes didn't hold it on the grass. On take off it pins you in the seat. Climb out was 1000 fpm at 90 kts Climb power was 750fpm I stayed in the pattern and was at 2000' by the base leg to land. 7kts extra at high Cruise power setting. During maneuvering I noticed it stays at a consistent speed more. Chandelles at 140kt and the speed didn't fluctuate at all. When you reduce power to idle it feels like you reached the end of a rope. The acft stops. On final at 85kt gear and flaps out, throttle idle I descended at 2000fpm. Touch and goes are crazy. Before you would roll down the runway building up speed to get airborne. Now just crack the throttle and the acft comes off the ground. Second touch N go I left the gear and flaps out until 500'. She didn't care, climbed out like normal. TO roll just measured on wet grass runway: 40 gal of fuel. One pax. 2350 rpm airborne in 850' I left full TO power in unitl 700' and climbed out at 85kt and 1500fpm. Very happy with this and it's going to be fun learning the airplane all over again. __________________________________________________________________ Fortunately roylties free for me on this prop !
