Unfortunately the insert is a left hand thread. Look for the rectangle shaped notches between insert and the exhaust port. You may be able to drill a small hole thru the exhaust port and insert and drill a hardened steel pin into them to lock it in place. Then try heating the collar/insert with a portable propane tank flame. Then using the pin spanner, try loosening the collar from the insert. You can also try cutting the collar off the insert which will require replacing that exhaust section. If this fails, all I know to do is remove the cylinder and send it to an M14 engine shop. They will remove the old insert and install a new one. You will still most likely have to replace the exhaust section. Someone else may have other recommendations.
