It's not much, but I have "taken the plunge" and I'll be building the website as I build parts. There are some good web sites out there and I've borrowed some ideas from them. I hope I can pass on some of the information I have learned via this website. See the address in my signature. Since it is brand new, any suggestions on web-posting and/or airplane-building are greatly appreciated. I think every builder should keep a log of his actions - it's good to see what you have accomplished when you have finished your plane or when you have a dip :-) And published on the net it's great fun for other builders too I think. At least I appreciate. One minor remark: some ppl could complain about the size of the pictures. I have a fast cable connection but some ppl have slower connections and it might take a while to load the pictures. But larger pics give greater detail... it's up to you what you want. Just a small consideration. I would like to say: keep up the good work! (and all other builders with homepages - I love 'em). Best wishes, Frank Zodiac 601 HD - ~15% done http://www.mijnvliegtuig.tk (our homepage with large pics ;-) do not archive -- Frank Wolsink Thought for today: Expert, n.: Someone who comes from out of town and shows slides. http://www.xs4all.nl/~fwolsink/ ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 05:16:08 PM PST US From: "Doug Mattson" Subject: Zenith-List: Altimeter --> Zenith-List message posted by: "Doug Mattson" I have a Bendix encoding altimeter part number 3252013-0101. The altimeter works ok but when I check the output of the encoder it is linear but 500 feet to high. Does anyone know how to adjust this? IS TO GET A STAINLESS sTEEL BRUSH AND SCRUB SCRUB SCRUB. gET IT CLEAN. Also start out with lots of heat untill the arc stabilizes then cut down to your heat.If you short the tungsten on your work just stop and break off the bad end and then arc on a piece of heavy scrap untill a ball forms on the end. Then you can go. Hope this helped you out "Pinneo, George" wrote:--> Zenith-List message posted by: "Pinneo, George" I'd want to Heli-arc weld it as I did on my 601 HDS. It takes more heat to weld aluminum because it's so conductive the heat runs away from the source. Steels hold heat nicely. Learning to weld aluminum is a lot tougher than steel or stainless steel!!
