It hasn't anything to do with xDSL cable or telephone line with
historical modem :-) Works just fine...
This Coomalie.AVI file is created as "Motion JPEG" video file
(I just checked it with "AVIcodec" software, which tels all
information about used video and audio compression methods
in file).
So, your player need to support that kind of video material, or
should I say, you need a right CODEC installed to view this
video with various players. Let's see, what google says about
this video format:
"Motion JPEG codec"

I finally got it, Jari's info on the codec helped.
When I tried it the first time, a message came up saying something
about not being able to download the proper codec. Jari's info led me to
http://www.morgan-multimedia.com/ubb/forum1/clicks_db/download.asp?file=m3jpegv3.exe
I downloaded the file, ran it, and then Microsoft Multimedia Player was
able to play the .AVI just fine :

Subject: Zenith-List: Finding torque info....?
Hi John Information from Ray Lasnier
The torque information in the Continental manuals is in
inch lbs to get the reading on your torque wrench
divide by 12 to get foot pounds.
From Rays manual tightening torque
Crankcase Through stud 7/16 20 tpi 490-510 inch lbs = 40.8-42.5 ft lbs
Crank case nut 3/8 24 tpi 275-325 inch lbs = 22.9-27.1 ft lbs
Connection Rod Bolts 3/8 24 tpi 400-475 inch lbs = 33.3-39.6 ft lbs
Cylinder Head Nut Small 7/16 20 tpi 490-510 inch lbs 40.8-42.5 ft lbs
Cylinder Head Large nut 3/8 tpi 410-430 inch lbs 34.2-35.8 ft lbs
You will require special spanners for cylinder head nuts to get correct
torque
Ray says ensure you read Page 118-119 of overhaul manual X300-10 1981
Ray suggests you get someone experenced with these engines to work with you,
this should not be a problem in the states.
Clive Richards for Ray Lasnier G CBDG 601HD Continental 0-200 85% hoping to
fit engine mount next week.

Steve,
I hope (and I'm sure) that your table is a lot closer to flat than 1 degree,
1 degree is more than 3/4" over 48".
That said, I agree that 1mm over a 4' x 12' table is much more than good
enough for building this kind of plane. The big thing, is to make sure that
your parts are sitting firmly on the table, weighted down when and where
appropriate.

The airstrip is a WWII strip 100km Sth of Darwin. The Northern Territory is littered
with such strips- there being about 8 between this one and Darwin and others
further Sth. Most were bombed many times by the Japanese in WWII. Note that
most of them run N-S even though most people in the NT now have strips E-W. The
"reason" I was once told was because the E-W prevailing winds would make it
hard to get a string of bombs down the centreline. Darwin was attacked in 1942
by
the same fleet that attacked Pearl Harbour and in fact with a larger number of
aircraft. This partic. strip had a mix of beaufighters and mosquitos. I take my
hat
off to them since the hill to the nth makes for a cramped approach and the thought
of landing a damaged bomber over that, at night with flare pots and a 3000'
strip makes me shudder.
Those interested will find a list and further description of raids on Nth Australia

Of course the US had a very heavy military presence up here during those years
as well.

I am presently setting up the cooling system for my Status Suburu in my
601HD. I have a pair of radiators in with the engine and venting out the
sides. My question is want have builders been using for the expansion
tank . My radiators/heater cores don't have a filler so I don't have a
place on them to put the radiator cap. So far I have found the BMW's
have a whole selection of remote plastic expansion tanks that they use
in many of their cars. I am still trying to pin don't the details on
particular ones. But I am interested how others have solved this problem.
