Any thoughts on the possibility of a Corvair for the 701 or is it too heavy? Your project workmanship looks excellent. I'm finishing up the rear fuselage and will be working on the cockpit/firewall area very soon. As I look ahead at the manuals and the plans, for some reason I have felt intimidated by this area of the construction, like how I felt cutting skin around wing tips. This is when I slow down to a snails pace. I'm sure once I get started and into the thick of it there will be no problems. The pictures show great details and and take some mystery and worry out of whats next. There are times where I might spend hours looking at these over and over before diving in.
