If the Zodiac 601 were any heavier, this might have not been possible. Thanks to Chris, it was easy. This method is easier than trying to jack or roll the plane onto 3 scales and was easy enough for one person lifting or lowering. Pictures are on the site under jigs and handling. Don't forget to register it as a centenial hombuilt if you are an EAA member. There are 17 Zenith 701 and 601 finished this year so far. I don't see an 801 yet....... That puts us in 3rd place with RVs(73) in 1st and Glastar(18) in 2nd. Not that we are racing or anything but it is cool to see all those projects completed and motivates me even more to finish mine. Also put pics on your zenith builders site. Its nice to see who the builders are and their creations. Brian Unruh Long Island NY http://www.zenithair.com/bldrlist/profiles/bunruh Well I,ve done it. The engine ran normal back to Thun. It will be next week before we can order a new part ($70). I really appreciate your help. If you get a chance, could you measure your strobe power supply? I guess I'll put access panels in my wings while the plane is down. I would recommend having a look at my plane as you build yours because there are some things that are easier to address as your building. Dave 678-464-8227 c. 253-846-6356 h. Hanger #50 Thun field
