Whats the best method for plugging the two holes in the stratus
radiator? (one hole at the rear and another at the front). Is threading a
bolt into the holes sufficient?
Thanks
Andrew

Thanks Karl & Phil,
I thought the triangle marked the heavy spot on the tire? If it is
actually the light spot then I have it backwards.

Andrew,
I used a sheet metal screw 3/4" long of a diameter that just engages the
hole a little and
mixed enough epoxy to load up the hole and screw and inserted the screw.
The radiator was positioned with the screw head down so the epoxy wouldn't
gravitate away from the screw while it hardened. Then repeated at opposite
end.

I'm sure some of you know this, but others may not. YOU, you determine how well
the tire/tube is balanced by how you mount and center the tire on the rim.
Use talcum powder to allow the rubber to slip on the wheel. Fuss with it! You
can "seal" the tire fine with a tube and still be wildly out of balance. It
took me three "fitting sessions" on one of my original tire/tube combos to get
it fairly well balanced. Remember, you're not flying an F-16, guys!
If all else fails, you could even call Nicholas and get verbal directions.

Jeff, Larry, and others,
Thanks for your suggestions and links to paperwork forms for the licensing
process. I had a very pleasant telephone contact with MIDO office of FAA
and they were quite helpful and will send out some of the forms. They
admitted they do some inspections but relinquished most to DAR's. They said
sometimes there was less than a week of lead time needed to get an
inspection from their office and other times it was into the months. Might
try to go that way before reaching down deep in the wallet for a DAR.
Thanks again

Roy,
Congrats on the first year of flying. Just wondering, how much horsepower
do you think the engine is producing at that 100kt cruise?
Also nice to hear that the zenvair is finally legal and flying. Cant wait
to hear performance specs from that crowd.
