It would have helped better if he had given us it before we had assembled the fuel system and we have had to clean some off. The main danger seem to me to be if you disasemble when you refit you can push old sealant into the pipe from the thread and this can clog screens or jets in carb. This includes some hardware improvements - more memory, faster, more capable processors - as well as a complete operating system upgrade from scratch. I hope to have both the old system and the new system running at the same time to minimize the actual impact of the upgrade. Hopefully there will be little actual downtime during the transition, but a few posts may get lost in the shuffle. If you don't see your post show up on the List in the normal amount of time (plus a little bit), then please just try posting it again. Upgrading the Matronics Email Server operating system (from Redhat Linux 7.2 to Redhat Linux WS 4) is a sizeable undertaking and requires a great deal of work to port all of the utilities, programs, and scripts over to the new system. As I've already mentioned, both the old and new systems will be on line at the same time, so interruption should be held to an absolute minimal. You might see a couple of odd test messages during the cut-over or other odd messages; please just ignore them. I have setup a new System Status Web Page that I will use to update List Members on the current status of the email and web systems. Please refer to it as often as you like: http://www.matronics.com/SystemStatus/ Thank you for your continued support of the List Services at Matronics! Its your yearly Contributions that make these major upgrades possible! After reviewing several other installations I settled on 1.5 degrees to the right and .8 degrees down. Seems to be almost perfect for my plane. I can make power changes without having to trim nose up or down. I have to admit it takes a very firm right rudder on the takeoff roll but what do you expect from a engine thats a few times too large for an 801. Just for reference there are a few 801's out there with custom powerplants. The 6 cyl Subaru has a 0-0 mount, the factory Lyc mount is 3 right and 2 down, and the Franklin 220 hp ones had 4 down and 3 to the right. They look like the plane has been in a head on crash. From all I can gather all the planes seem to fly just fine... Quick question. What are the advantages/disadvantages of either pounding rivets or using a squeezer, as I am getting ready to build my spars (CH701). It seems like by using a mechanical/ bench mounted/ hand squeezer, you can set a stop at the correct squeeze, so that all the rivets will be consistent and correct. Thanks, Keith CH701, still a long way to go (looking at a possible rotary engine, 1300cc, http://www.freedom-motors.com/) name="winmail.dat" eJ8+Ih0DAQaQCAAEAAAAAAABAAEAAQeQBgAIAAAA5AQAAAAAAADoAAEIgAcAGAAAAElQTS5NaWNy b3NvZnQgTWFpbC5Ob3RlADEIAQ2ABAACAAAAAgACAAEEgAEAHwAAAFJpdmV0cyAocG91bmRpbmcg b3Igc3F1ZWV6aW5nKQBOCwEFgAMADgAAANUHBAAQABUAAAAbAAYAJgEBIIADAA4AAADVBwQAEAAV AAAAGwAGACYBAQmAAQAhAAAARDcyMUE0OEY2Njg2OUY0M0FDMTdERDI4REQ4M0I3QTUAUQcBA5AG ADwJAAA4AAAAAwAmAAAAAAADADYAAAAAAEAAOQBJfeGb+ULFAR4APQABAAAAAQAAAAAAAAACAUcA AQAAADEAAABjPVVTO2E9IDtwPUlUVElORDtsPUNPTEMtTUFJTC0wNTA0MTcwMzAwMjdaLTE2NzIA AAAAHgBJAAEAAAAkAAAAUmU6IFplbml0aC1MaXN0OiBBbHVtaW51bSBleHRydXNpb24AQABOAIAe CZs3QcUBHgBaAAEAAAAnAAAAb3duZXItemVuaXRoLWxpc3Qtc2VydmVyQG1hdHJvbmljcy5jb20A AAIBWwABAAAAawAAAAAAAACBKx+kvqMQGZ1uAN0BD1QCAAAAAG93bmVyLXplbml0aC1saXN0LXNl cnZlckBtYXRyb25pY3MuY29tAFNNVFAAb3duZXItemVuaXRoLWxpc3Qtc2VydmVyQG1hdHJvbmlj cy5jb20AAAIBXAABAAAALAAAAFNNVFA6T1dORVItWkVOSVRILUxJU1QtU0VSVkVSQE1BVFJPTklD Uy5DT00AHgBdAAEAAAAMAAAAVHJldm9yIFBhZ2UAAgFeAAEAAAA7AAAAAAAAAIErH6S+oxAZnW4A 3QEPVAIAAAAAVHJldm9yIFBhZ2UAU01UUAB3ZWJtYXN0ZXJAdXBhYy5jYQAAAgFfAAEAAAAXAAAA U01UUDpXRUJNQVNURVJAVVBBQy5DQQAAHgBmAAEAAAAFAAAAU01UUAAAAAAeAGcAAQAAACcAAABv d25lci16ZW5pdGgtbGlzdC1zZXJ2ZXJAbWF0cm9uaWNzLmNvbQAAHgBoAAEAAAAFAAAAU01UUAAA AAAeAGkAAQAAABIAAAB3ZWJtYXN0ZXJAdXBhYy5jYQAAAB4AcAABAAAAHwAAAFJpdmV0cyAocG91 bmRpbmcgb3Igc3F1ZWV6aW5nKQAAAgFxAAEAAAAbAAAAAcVBOPgtArVe+iphS7a4d2NMFwBbdQBv 3Z4WAB4AdAABAAAAGgAAAHplbml0aC1saXN0QG1hdHJvbmljcy5jb20AAAAeABoMAQAAABUAAABB c2hjcmFmdCwgS2VpdGggLUFFUwAAAAAeAB0OAQAAAB8AAABSaXZldHMgKHBvdW5kaW5nIG9yIHNx dWVlemluZykAAAIBCRABAAAAOgIAADYCAAAmAwAATFpGdZZbIuIDAAoAcmNwZzEyNeIyA0N0ZXgF QQEDAff/CoACpAPkBxMCgA/zAFAEVj8IVQeyESUOUQMBAgBjaOEKwHNldDIGAAbDESX2MwRGE7cw EiwRMwjvCfe2OxgfDjA1ESIMYGMAUDMLCQFkMzYWUAumIEiUZWwXsCAHQGwsCqKBCoBIb3BlIHkI YKsdQBggIBPgdguAZx1ASCBnbwRwIHcJ4Gs5CfBkLgrjCoQKgFF1EQ3gayBxClBzdGk7AiAgEFcT 4AVAHoJ0aLEeIGFkdgBwAZBnB5AML2QEACLIIG9mIOxlaSKBBcBwCGAf8B7y3QUQdhQgJDEFwHUA kB8D0nMhUWV6BJAsHUAEIHpJHUBtH0AUICGQJVJlrSLAeSJwHTBiIQBsH4AabSiAcwqxBCAoQ0ig NzAxKS4gOkkFQMkUEGVtBCBsaR/QKMBfKIAmJgeAE9EDAGMHQC+/KMAJ8BPQKSAlAQ6wZC0w/yzB H4AmqB5CLQADoBQRJnJ9KKBwHUAFQCKCBaEYIGP3KxEmtCcgcx0wIoAiEh0Q/yJzJYUD8DJxLVAw wQCBIYBfCfAiIS5hMNUqO1QswWv2cx2FHZRLJIIdlCnTMcGfIZAycR8wF7AfAXdhKIPLH1AdlCgX sG9rHvMv0lsk8AQQaQJgMsFvAZByGyiACfBnC4AxsTEzMCgwY2MnIGgCQHA6aC8vdz1gLgNQCeBk XQNwLQRgKKAUAC4FoG0ULykdlH0/UAAAHgA1EAEAAABFAAAAPDZDNTgzOTU0NzdDREQ0NEE5QzAx QjMyNjhEMzczMTAzMDgxQkNDQGNvbGMtbWFpbC5hZXMuZGUuaXR0aW5kLmNvbT4AAAAAHgBHEAEA AAAPAAAAbWVzc2FnZS9yZmM4MjIAAAsA8hABAAAAHwDzEAEAAABGAAAAUgBpAHYAZQB0AHMAIAAo AHAAbwB1AG4AZABpAG4AZwAgAG8AcgAgAHMAcQB1AGUAZQB6AGkAbgBnACkALgBFAE0ATAAAAAAA CwD2EAAAAABAAAcwGIumbvhCxQFAAAgwDS3mm/lCxQEDAN4/r28AAAMA8T8JBAAAHgD4PwEAAAAV AAAAQXNoY3JhZnQsIEtlaXRoIC1BRVMAAAAAAgH5PwEAAABHAAAAAAAAANynQMjAQhAatLkIACsv 4YIBAAAAAAAAAC9PPUlUVElORC9PVT1BRUQvQ049UkVDSVBJRU5UUy9DTj1BU0gzMDE4NQAAHgD6 PwEAAAAVAAAAU3lzdGVtIEFkbWluaXN0cmF0b3IAAAAAAgH7PwEAAAAeAAAAAAAAANynQMjAQhAa tLkIACsv4YIBAAAAAAAAAC4AAAADAP0/5AQAAAMAGUAAAAAAAwAaQAAAAAADAB1AAAAAAAMAHkAA AAAAHgAwQAEAAAAJAAAAQVNIMzAxODUAAAAAHgAxQAEAAAAJAAAAQVNIMzAxODUAAAAAHgAyQAEA AAAnAAAAb3duZXItemVuaXRoLWxpc3Qtc2VydmVyQG1hdHJvbmljcy5jb20AAB4AM0ABAAAAEgAA AHdlYm1hc3RlckB1cGFjLmNhAAAAHgA4QAEAAAAJAAAAQVNIMzAxODUAAAAAHgA5QAEAAAACAAAA LgAAAAMAdkD/////CwApAAAAAAALACMAAAAAAAMABhALbnbBAwAHEI4BAAADABAQAAAAAAMAERAA AAAAHgAIEAEAAABlAAAASEVMTE9BTEwsSE9QRVlPVUFSRUhBVklOR0FHT09EV0VFS0VORFFVSUNL UVVFU1RJT05XSEFUQVJFVEhFQURWQU5UQUdFUy9ESVNBRFZBTlRBR0VTT0ZFSVRIRVJQT1VORElO RwAAAAACAX8AAQAAAEUAAAA8NkM1ODM5NTQ3N0NERDQ0QTlDMDFCMzI2OEQzNzMxMDMwODFCQ0NA Y29sYy1tYWlsLmFlcy5kZS5pdHRpbmQuY29tPgAAAAAWOw== ************************************ This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are proprietary and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
