When I joined this list serve, I knew I would have access to valuable resources
(experienced builders). But I didn't realize that there was a network of "moral
support" and camaraderie - thanks Gary B. and Jack R.!!!

Bob,
I'm in Herndon, Virginia and flying out of Dulles to Nashville
mid-morning Wednesday August 3rd. If you get down there, we could share the
rental car in Tennessee if you want. For a look at a Jabiru, there should
be one at Sentimental Journey next week 22-25 June in Loch Haven, PA if the
weather cooperates. And I'm hoping that there is one in Shelbyville!
Contact me offline if you are interested.

Hi Folks , For all you 701 builders and Zenith enthusiasts the link
below is the article that appeared in the May-June 2005 Recreational
Aircraft Association magazine about the CH701. It is very well written
and will be worth reading.

I have a drawing, but could find no other instructions for the airleron trim
tab.
Am I missing something, or do I just follow the procedure that I used for
the elevator trim tab?

No, but I'd like to see it. It sounds a lot like the paint scheme I
have designed for my 801.

Follow the same proceedure as the elevator trim tab
installation, using the provided drawing for the left
wing aileron trim tab.

Whoa, this part really got my attention:
With the new Light Sport category arriving in the US,Chris Heintz
is now building the prototype of alarger version, called the CH 750.
The plane will have two feet more wingspan with the same chord and
airfoil. The fuselage will be a couple feet longer with larger tail
area,still
using the inverted airfoil for the stab.
The landing gear will be stronger to handle the higher gross weight, and
the fuselage will be widened a couple of inches and will use the CH601 ?re-
wall and nose gear. This plane will use two different 100 hp engines, the
912S,and the O-200.Chris Heintz feels that the new US Sport Pilot license
will attract the older crowd who are afraid of losing their medicals. These
pilots
will feel more comfortable with a Continental,so Chris has convinced
Continental
to go back into production with the O-200. This CH 750 will be an excellent
STOL aircraft.
From ?fty feet away the new CH 750 will look just as beautiful as the
current CH 701.
Now THAT is interesting! I sure hope it will be offered as both a kit AND a
plans-buildable project, unlike the 801.
-Chris
