Now I get to put some of this information to use since I picked up my 701 kit from Yellow Freight yesterday. The only problem is my shop in now over 100 F and sweating on the plans is making it hard to read; also wrinkles the paper. Sure doesn't look like much when all of the parts are stacked in a small corner. This really makes it simple to plug in your own numbers and see if you are in within range.... VERY NICE! It can be found at the BUILDERS RESOURCES (First flight checklist) page at www.CH701.com I notice a wonderful new look of organization on this webpage.. thanks Mark Thanks Joe! ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 04:30:08 PM PST US From: Steve Hulland Subject: Re: Zenith-List: 701 Kit arrives --> Zenith-List message posted by: Steve Hulland Dan, Where do you live? When my shop was in my garage, I would place a fan, a good size orange shop fan I got a Home Depot, in the door way to the garage from the kitchen. Believe it or not it cooled the garage down to around 80*F. Not too bad for Orlando, FL. Anyhow, welcome....did you make the workshop? If not let me know off group and I'll let you in on how I screwed my rudder up. (A skin over/under thing). Where do you live?? Have you seen www.ch701.com yet? A lot of good builder info/help there. Keep us posted with your progress. DO NOT ARCHIVE Dan Wilde wrote: --> Zenith-List message posted by: "Dan Wilde" Rick Orlando, FL. I'm lucky - I have an insulated shop! Definitely need that here in North Dakota in winter. Last summer I converted a window to an air conditioner so now can have "meat locker" temps if I want. Keep up the great suggestions, everybody. I'm really loving this web site!
