Mark, has Gary (Sensornetics) had anything manufactured yet?

When he was at the UPAC convention last year he only had mock-ups. I
do not doubt his abilities, he does know what he's talking about and
      he has the right idea.
I didn't look at his stuff in Goderich but I gather he's in
      production now?

      All-
I hope I worded my questions to EAA Technical correctly, because there
doesn't seem to be any consensus among the listers. Best case scenario is
the FAA really does consider a 601 to be a 601 and that's that.
                                                                      Bill

      Build your own AOA meter.

I'll bet $.50 those strut mounted AOA meters that cost $600 can be made for $20.

I'm not an EE but I think this is how they work.
I hope some smart guy will check this out.

      1. Mount a wind vane on a poteniometer, mount this on strut.
2.Run 3 small wires to cabin.
      3.Build a LED Voltmeter http://www.solorb.com/elect/solarcirc/vom/
      4.Go to jameco.com for parts (LM3914N--LED Volt meter--$2.55) LEDs $.17 other
      parts maybe $5
5.Make a bracket to mount the 10 LEDs where you want them.
6.Calibrate(adjust voltage to light center LED with vane level.Fine tune at stall
      speed.

Look in Aircraft Spruce for high priced AOA.

      thanks Hugh
PS I bet somebody could make a buck if im right.

      Hello, all

I am about to order parts to build the fuel tanks, thus the following question:
I have no idea what the instrument panel will look like, but I need to select a
      fuel level sender
      now.

Is this going to limit my choices of gauges?
Or should I just have a removable plate for now and choose the sender later?
      Suggestions, recommendations?

      Thanks in advance
