So we all have to be Republicans or we can't be civil
to each other. What country is it we're living in now?

For my part, anyone who has built or is building a
Zenith is welcome to my abode - Republicans,
Democrats, Independents, and yes, even smokers -
well, as long as they smoke outside.

      Jeesszzz guys .....

Hell, we can be civil, we just can't go taking leftists and smokers into our
homes. Very few people can be counted on to leave their core beliefs and
their cigarette smell at the door. Jeesszzz, I though a guy could be
selective about overnight house guests in America.

For Ed and anyone else wishing to comment on Rick's letter. The
Sun-N-Fun BBQ we held this year was not a company run event, it is
solely held by builders for builders. This year it came out of my pocket
and with the help of Jabiru USA, SPortplanes.com and Rick Roberts ( with
his kind donation of 2 cooks ,BBq's, freezer space and salads) Plus with
what attendants donated in the jar we broke even with $5.00 to the good.
So Ricks PRIVATE letter to me stating the Aeroflash unit he has just
sold on E-Bay was a donation for the Sun-N-Fun BBQ on Thursday April 6th
2006 was in fact a REAL message from a most gracious member of this
list. Most members will know this as Rick has been here for quite
awhile, and will see his message was intended directly for me and not
the list in which we have all done or will do at some point. Ed Moody
and FLydog1966 you are invited to the BBQ as well as is anyone on this
list or who are building a Zenith plane but maybe a quiet note of
apology would be warranted to Rick who made the Webmasters Sun-N-Fun BBQ
the success it was would be in order.

Hey, if Rick wants an apology, I hereby formally offer it. Both posts were
harmless bits of kidding. If he is donating to a fun event, good for him and
for all who attend. I was at Sun-N-Fun this year but did not attend the
event you mentioned. Sorry I missed it and more sorry yet if you or Rick
      took offense.

      Ed Moody II

PS: Quiet notes of apology are, by definition, not usually extended in the
same format as the offense to which they relate. If I offend out loud, the
apology will be given in the same manner. The email came out on the list,
not in PRIVATE. So has the REAL apology. No offense was intended. Hold any
further flames north of the border please.

I've got my plans ordered, but haven't really started construction yet.
I'm over in Huger, SC (just outside of Mt. Pleasant). Just curious: are
you a member of EAA Chapter 477? I've talked with Mel (the chapter
president) and will hopefully be making it out to the next meeting.
They seemed to be trying to drum up new members, so it might be
      something to check into.
