Someone posted a link to a 701 landing and taking off recently, and I lost
the link and the video.
Anyone have the link?
Or other links to good clips of the 701 demonstrating short takeoff

You would be surprised how much heat your brakes generate. If you don't
believe, touch the drum or disk after landing. Second thought, don't touch
them as I would not like to hear you burned your fingers.

hi list
i have been looking at the plans for a few days, and
the placement of the middle balance fairlead seems to
be on a L-Angle, but it only shows up in the partial
view on the drawings. I am going to connect it to the
rear seat panel, but if this is incorrect let me know.
my brain has hit a void spot, maybe scotch brite
poisoning? i acturally feel stupid sending this, but
better truth than false illusion

Hi Monty:
It might have been mine at:
http://www.sonar100.com/stol701-1.wmv
I know it will do a shorter landing, because we had the idle set too
high at 2500 rpm.
The description of the approaches, etc is at
www.sonar100.com
Fred Sanford...Santa Barbara...701 50 hours Luvin it!
