it all depends which speed setting you have established in the pitch setting.
At full throttle, level flight, nose is level, at low 2000 rpm pitched for 65knts,
nose is 5 to 10 high.

Well, here we are. 3 months late (Some might say 3 years late), but
the fuse is hooked up to the c-section. Just finished the garanger and
still have to be careful of positioning or I'll run out of room!
Anyone have an easy way to bend the upper longerons? I'm not crazy
about building the rig Larry Mac used, but will if I have to.

Subject: | Re: flight attitude of XL?? |
it depends on the pitch setting of the prop. Full throttle with climb pitch will
give high rpm at climb then go past 3300 at cruise with no increase in speed.
increase the bite, and at cruise the plane starts to accelarate giving you
a different speed. maybe more than LSA in some. what is imprtant is not the
plane level, but the artificial horizon if you have one. Just set the cruise
for level flight pitch your speed and see where the nose sits out the window.
If artificial Horizon, pitch plane for level flight, waite a minute for plane
to settle, then move horizon. you are now level.

Bill,
Take another look at what it takes. Very little effort to get it right
here and you just use the template to check against.
Bend just a little at a time, and you can unbend as needed to get it.
Just take your time.
