What you are asking for is designated CH750. The 701 is already maxxed out from
the original 880 lbs design. In some countries you can fly above max. design
wt. but with a reduced G limit - ZAC provide the calculations for this on their
website, but you would be better to wait for the availability of the 750 or
801.

Before you use spray foam, I'd recommend you search the archives.
A member used it under some flashing. The problem was that spray foam doesn't
stop expanding for quite a while. The flashing didn't stay in the shape it was
supposed to.
Good idea, but if you use it, I'd recommend you experiment with it first.

Kevin Kinney

How is Almere nowadays? I used to live there until I moved to the US in '99.

I don't think the foam itself would be corrosive, but you moisture will get
trapped between the foam/aluminum sandwich. THAT will cause some corrosion
problems.
The foam would also be susceptable to being washed away with any fuel spills
that might seep in when you over-fill the tank or take off with topped off
tanks.
Better stick with the cork.

There have been a few people that have adapted an automotive aftermarket
ignition system to their Jabiru's, but an easier (better?) way would be to
add an additional lightweight Oddesey battery for back-up.

Subject: | CH801 kit components for sale |
Due to other time and family commitments, I've decided to sell my Zenith
CH801 project.
Here is what I have:
- Wings Kit (Zenith price: $6245)
- Fuel System Kit (Zenith price: $1225)
- Tail Kit (Zenith price: $1750)
- Nav/Strobe Kit (Zenith price: $465)
- Nice 4' x 12' work table.
* I have not purchased the remaining component kits ( fuselage, gear, etc)
The total Zenith price for the above components (not counting shipping or
taxes) is just under $9700.
I'm asking $8000 for everything (including the table if you want it).
Current state of the project:
- I've only started on the Tail Kit. The rudder is 100% complete, and
the horizontal stabilizer is about half done.
- The wing kit and fuel kit is still in the factory crate.
Given that the rudder is complete and the horizontal stab is sitting in the
jig, I don't want to ship anything.
I live in Houston, TX and I'll deliver within the regional area (Houston,
Dallas, San Antonio, etc.) for $1 per round-trip mile.
Many thanks,
Gary Craze
