I have a question for CH701 builders:
The photoassembly guides have very little information on the brake system;
where do I find information such as the brake line material spec, suggested
routing and tie downs, fittings, and recommended brake fluid?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

just a few scratches and bruises. The plane didn't fare as well.

Anybody that maybe concern about paying WW a deposit for an order of parts,
I paid by way of pay-pal $4,000. to Flycorvair for a corvair f w f that I
ordered
it took longer than I or WW want it to but as a return I got one of the most
beautiful corvair engine
around. WW and his wife are very nice person, and he go out of his way to
please his customers, trust me he will not
run away with your money. If you are thinking in going with WW corvair or to
order parts or a f w f from William Waynne save your self or WW some mental
disturbance by ordering months ahead of the time that
the part will be needed. I am so happy the way that my order came out, the
extra time I had to way
all ready had fade out of my brain.
And what can I say about Kevin the guy who assemble the corvair engine and
Gus of Flywithgus.com
you have to look very hard if you want to find somebody as nice as those two
guys.
So this is a very happy ending for a corvair F W F order.

Greetings Mr. Pitcher,
When posting doctored images, please anotate them as such to prevent any
confusion between them and actual photographs.
I believe that the "photos" you posted offer definitive proof that a
plane (which had an N#) hit a house.

Sorry.
I hereby annotate the photo as "doctored" by removing the N-number before everyone
got a chance to speculate why John Doe (not his real name) had problems with
his first flight. I really didn't think it was neccessary.

They use Matco brake and wheel assemblies. Surely this is specified in the plans?
The fluid is detailed with the Matco spec sheets, red aviation fluid as used in
cessnas etc.
The nylon style brake lines on my model exit the fuselage through a grommet aft
of the landing gear box section and have no external support. I dont think the
701 cruises fast enough to need any.

Raymond,
If they are "doctored images" and not "actual photographs" then why do
believe they offer definitive proof of anything?
I know that email is terrible at communicating intent, but you appear to be
chastising Mr. Pitcher. If so, please spare us the holier-than-thou
attitude. He was doing something he felt was appropriate in keeping the
identity of the poor builder confidential for now, while still informing the
list of a significant event of interest to all of us. While noting up front
that he had removed the N number from the photograph would have been
helpful, he is not trying to deceive anyone.
If your post was merely intended as a primer in photojournalistic ethics in
the digital age, my sincerest apologies.

I ordered some parts from WW a while back and paid for them with by check. I
don't have my parts yet, but he hasn't cashed the checks yet either. Grace
acknowledged receipt when I saw them at Sun-n-Fun. I have ordered more parts
since and will probably order a mount and a baffle kit this week.
I think worrying about WW absconding with your money is a total waste of
time.

Michael,
My email to Mr. Pitcher was to express my preferences for annotating
images.
I assumed no malice or intent to decieve by Mr. Pitcher, which is
why I took the substance of the images as truthful and correct and
commented that they offered definative proof of the event.
Mr. Pitcher made his intent clear. I did not chastise him for his
decision.
I have no credentials to offer anyone advice on photojournalistic
ethics. It is appropriate for me to make Mr. Pitcher aware of my
preferences.
If, in the future, I should choose to chastise someone should I
check with you first? You have indicated that you speak for "us"(whoever
that is) when deciding which of my attitudes the list should be spared.
I hope I have made my intent clear.

and Im not to sure its up to a trip like that. Your thoughts and experience
on the subject would be appreciated.
Thanks

Subject: | Canadian Pricing of Kits |
Hi Ron and everyone else on the list, I have just arrived home from
Arlington, during the shows I only receive E-Mail directly addressed to
Can-Zac, I normally will not get the other 500 E-Mails until my return
home. So Ron I apologize for the delay in reply. The Pricing on all of
Can-Zac's sales are calculated on day of sale. Right now with the
Canadian Dollar rising so quickly it is hard to keep the websites
pricing updated, plus add shows like Arlington and Oshkosh and there is
just not enough hours in the day.

Hi Mark
With the Canadian dollar being close to par with the US dollar, will the
price of the 601/701 kits
be changed?? Or have they already?
