250 without anything on, stripped no geers. On the gears, if you net from 750Lbs,
wings at 75 lbs, engine at 180 lbs, canopy at 30 lbs, its around 400lbs.

Obviously, someone got to the city council. Take a page from the tree
-huggers manual----Swiftly get a lawyer, even more swiftly have him go
to a judge for an injunction pending an environmental impact assessme
nt. They take time. Then, hold a regional fly-in, with breakfast or so
mething, and get every plane you can on field. If a fly-in is too much
to attempt, hold an open house. Give rides. Make friends. Have local
merchants sell (put that in big letters) SELL food and beverages, so t
hey're reminded of the economic impact. While all that is going on, fi
nd out who benefits from the sale. There may only be ten planes based
there, but the possibilities loom large. Main thing is, fight back lon

Subject: | Fuselage-Point to start riveting? |
There is a lot in the archives on this. Except for the rear section, I completely
assembled the fuse with clecos, then dis-assembled, prepped, re-assembled and
riveted (except for top skins). You can leave 1 cleco per ~ 5 holes on sections
you are not working on.
Craig S
N601XS, 601xl 0-235 lyc
List,
I am at the point where my cleco collection is slimming down due to usage.
For those of you who have completed or are near completion of the fuselage, at
what point of the do you begin the riveting process for the fron/floor/fire wall
and sides
I am currently at the seat back supports and feel I am near the point of dis-assembling
what I have and then pull the rivets up to a given area.
Thoughts?
