I've dropped the price on my quick-build-kit on Barnstormers to $19000. If
it doesn't sell at that price I guess I'll rent the other half of the hanger
the 701 is in and finish it.

Building an 601XL from kit (center stick) - have the ZAC supplied Andair valve.
I'd like to keep the fuel selector knob on the center console while moving the
actual valve to the underside of the floor (seeking to not route fuel through
the cabin).
What has worked for other builders...?
Thanks,
- Pat

Patrick, refer to the Zenith News letter or Luaghlins' email site. There is a
picture of what you want to do.

Thruster,
I painted mine the same way, regular base grey PPG or or Auto paint, with a good
base primer.

Did you try the one on his web site? That always worked for me, but I

Subject: | Re: Powder Coating Pro's and Con's |
Asked the same question the other day to a powder coating guy and an AME.
Both said the same thing....In the past powder-coating was very thick,
therefore the fear of it hiding a crack. However today the coatings are
much thinner and they are not concerned at all about it. I went ahead and
coated my engine mount, landing gear and other misc metal parts

Well ...... I am happy to say that I have a couple of good people willing to work
with me on this. :D
With any luck (and from what I have seen thus far) I hope to have these mocked
up before Oshkosh (well thats my goal).
Thank you all for your time. And if you have any thoughts or hints by all means
I'll like to hear them.
