Subject: Pulled Rivet Removal Help Sought
    From: "rbjjr" <burkeandsusan@verizon.net>
I may have a need to remove some rivets (20-30) and was wondering if anyone can offer advice on how to do so without screwing up the finished structure. Thanks in advance! Burke Johnson CH701 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p 5823#205823

You should use a pin punch to drive out the rivet stem and then use the proper size drill (1/8" for A4, 5/32" for A5) to drill just deep enough to remove the rivet head. It's pretty easy to remove the rivets this way without damaging the hole. > > > I may have a need to remove some rivets (20-30) and was wondering if > anyone can offer advice on how to do so without screwing up the > finished structure. > > Thanks in advance! > -- Bryan Martin N61BM, CH 601 XL, RAM Subaru, Stratus redrive. do not archive.
