Thanks for the bonus DVD. Really enjoyed both Gus's preflight info and the info on the new canopy. On the issue of the new canopy. That has got to be a sphincter tightening experience when you cut it in half. -------- W.R. "Gig" Giacona 601XL Under Construction See my progress at www.peoamerica.net/N601WR Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p 8723#208723

Maybe its different there, but in the US, paint stores have "universal" tin ting colors that work for both water and solvent thinned paints. --- On Mon, 10/13/08, Greg Cox, Gas-n-Go Automotive Pty Ltd <greg@gas-n-go. com.au> wrote: From: Greg Cox, Gas-n-Go Automotive Pty Ltd <greg@gas-n-go.com.au> Subject: RE: Zenith-List: Cortec - 373 Primer Hi John, Thanks for the reply, do you know what they would use to tint the primer? All- I made an obvious faux pas to try and excuse my failure (Through my continuing stupidity) to finish my project before Lynn. Lynn's workmanship is damned near Lindy quality but a big factor is that his work schedule and dedication allowed him to finish in much less time than me. I've resigned myself to that. My previous e-mail remarks are regional, and you have to make allowances. Around here, "Asshole" is an honorific. I've been asked recently "When are you going to finish that thing?" The answer I long ago resigned myself to is, "When I'm satisfied". N601MG flies by '10. There. I made a commitment. Hi Greg, I bought a couple of spray cans of Tempo Zinc Oxide from Aeroparts here in Australia. The only problem was exorbitant freight for dangerous goods, but out here where I live it was cheaper than driving! Have a look at http://www.aeroparts.com.au Glenn. -------- Glenn Andressen 601XL- Rudder, Stabiliser partially completed, Wing ribs, nose ribs done, numerous other parts made. I need an unusable airspeed indicator, tachometer, or any other 3 1/8 instrument. IF you have just a face plate for a 3 1/8 instrument, that might work also. I do not care about clear glass or what the face looks like. It will be gutted anyway. If you have something, let me know. My son wants it for a high school project and he keeps eyeing my instruments for my panel. NOT!!!
