Thanks for the bonus DVD. Really enjoyed both Gus's preflight info and the info
on the new canopy.
On the issue of the new canopy. That has got to be a sphincter tightening experience
when you cut it in half.

Maybe its different there, but in the US, paint stores have "universal" tin
ting colors that work for both water and solvent thinned paints.

Hi John,
Thanks for the reply, do you know what they would use to tint
the primer?
Would it be an enamel or acrylic tint?

Hi Greg;
------------Zenith
will sell you a quart. Then take it to your local paint supplier and have t
hem
tint it to the color you want. FWIW I found that the material as supplied i
s to
thick to get a thin coat when brushing it onto parts. I thinned mine with
denatured alchohol 3 to 1. I found this gave me the film thickness required
.

All-
I made an obvious faux pas to try and excuse my failure (Through my
continuing stupidity) to finish my project before Lynn.
Lynn's workmanship is damned near Lindy quality but a big factor is that
his work schedule and dedication allowed him to finish in much less time
than me. I've resigned myself to that.
My previous e-mail remarks are regional, and you have to make
allowances. Around here, "Asshole" is an honorific.
I've been asked recently "When are you going to finish that thing?" The
answer I long ago resigned myself to is, "When I'm satisfied".
N601MG flies by '10. There. I made a commitment.

Hi Greg,
I bought a couple of spray cans of Tempo Zinc Oxide from Aeroparts here in Australia.
The only problem was exorbitant freight for dangerous goods, but out here
where I live it was cheaper than driving!
Have a look at http://www.aeroparts.com.au

I need an unusable airspeed indicator, tachometer, or any other 3 1/8
instrument. IF you have just a face plate for a 3 1/8 instrument, that might
work
also. I do not care about clear glass or what the face looks like. It will
be gutted anyway. If you have something, let me know. My son wants it for a
high school project and he keeps eyeing my instruments for my panel. NOT!!!
