    HI Larry, I too am working on my panel. I feel your pain . . . I am not familiar with your kind of instrument, but I have an idea which might help. If you look carefully at the case around the pins in question you might find the "A" or other pin name embossed on the case.     Hi Larry I think if you check with an ohmmeter you will find the ground pin B is connected to the case.
