My ELT and Com antennas look very much alike. They work within the same
band width
so they'd probably be the same.

The Stein cables supplied with some D-100 and D-180s have had wire pairs reversed.
A continuity check of each pin is a good idea before installing.

Sabrina-
I'm trying to wire the harness from scratch using B+C components. I'm
unsure of the schematic. I could really use a reverse-engineered diagram of
the Stein cable.

Bill,
Do you have the Dynon Installation Guide?? The diagrams for both cables and connectors
are all laid out there.

Jay-
Yes, but they're written in Greek.
I just found out I could by a pre-made cable for what I paid for
the components. Live, get kicked in the butt, and learn.
Of course, if you can read Greek, I'll send you the appropriate
scans. I'm lost.

I made my dies out of plywood here's how they came out:

http://picasaweb.google.com/billdomg/Wings#5157577557444746498
Then I used a slotted stick to straighten the rib web, you might still have
to do this even if you use steel dies:
http://picasaweb.google.com/billdomg/Wings#5157577600394419522
It was faster than doing it with the stick from the beginning- and the wo
oden dies are easy to make. Here are the instruction on how to make wooden
flanging dies.

At one point I posted about borrowing a set from someone.
I planned to make a set of dies or have a set made, but the cheapest price
I was quoted was like $500 or some such. I decided to just use a slotted st
ick with prices like that.
If I could borrow a set that would be spectacular.

All, I received this from another yahoo group. It is just something that us fliers
should be aware of.
I have forwarded it to the 701 Yahoo group, and thought that it might be sent to
the Matronics list also.
(hopefully the link still works)

Bill,
I wish had gone your route. I just looked over the online manual for the D100,
it seems pretty straight forward if you stick to the PIN9 is this, PIN10 is
this etc., as described in the various tables.
So, use the tables and the numbers on the connectors. The schematic is there as
a back up and really not needed except to point out which wires are shielded
and which are not.

Hello Lee:
I have a set of steel Zenith dimensioned dies that I am happy to loan to
other Builders. Several Listers have used these with positive results.
They are currently on the way to another Builder who estimated that he would
have them for s short time.
What is your requirement? How soon would you need them, and where are you
located?
Regards,
Randy, Las Vegas
