Therefore I was planning to prime the outside of my fuel tanks and the inside of the fuel tank enclosures in the LEs of the wings. I am using PTI zinc chromate primer on my airframe. Has anyone else done this, and if so, did you have any issues with adequate adhesion of the sticky-backed cork strips to the primed surfaces of the fuel tank?
