Hello group ,I plan to order my propeller today for my 601XL .I will be
using the Franklin 125hp engine .I have requested the prop builder to
use 68"X60" for the prop .Do you think this is a good number .

I had my 2 blade 69 klip tip cut down to 67. With a bungee failure and nose tire
flat, 68 or 69 did not give enough ground clearance on a 2 blade prop.

Hello!
I'm considering powering my bird with a Corvair engine. I have limited experience
rebuilding engines (replaced a Subie head gasket once) and would have an experienced
Corvair builder do this for me. I would not provide the cadaver or any
organs.
To save money, I would be comfortable in assembling some of the engine myself.
Look forward to hearing your experiences, suggestions, and references.
Cheers,
Dan
