With a bungee failure and nose tire flat, 68 or 69 did not give enough ground clearance on a 2 blade prop. I'm considering powering my bird with a Corvair engine. I have limited experience rebuilding engines (replaced a Subie head gasket once) and would have an experienced Corvair builder do this for me. I would not provide the cadaver or any organs. To save money, I would be comfortable in assembling some of the engine myself. Look forward to hearing your experiences, suggestions, and references.
