Ladies and Gents,
I want to publicly thank Steve Smith for all he is doing as champion for the 601XL.
His recent 8500 mile round trip from California to "Sun-n-fun" and all of those
other 601 drivers proves this to be a safe and reliable vehicle of the air!
Steve finished building his bird a couple of years ago and has been flying it every
opportunity he gets -- resulting in 450+/- hours on the clock @ Lakeland.
Take a look at his blog on Zenith Aero for more details.
Keep up the good work Steve, you're an inspiration to those of us who have been
dragging their feet.

Mack,
I'll stand right beside ya on that issue. I read and viewed all the posted flight
pictures last night. Can't wait till it my turn to do the same.

I learned how to weld, and then modified my Corvair valve covers, and made a firewall
pass-through for the fuel line.
I'll clean these us tomorrow, and if I'm happy with how they turn out I'll then
paint them and install them. If I don't like them I know I can fix them.
