Hello All, - Zenith calls for Loctite Stick and Seal waterproof adhesive for the canopy rubber trim.- I can't seem to find the suggested stuff at Wal-Mart as Zen ith suggests but find Loctite Stick and Seal Oil and Gas.- Not sure if th is is the same stuff, where did you find it-and also wonder what everyone is using if different than the Loctite. Thanks for the lead, Carlos I attended two forums by Wally at Oshkosh in 2006 and he was excellent. I''d bet that his builder assist company in Eugene is excellent for RV builders. Thanks for the tip and for reminding me of those EAA videos. I just wihc I had a faster, more reliable Internet connection so that I could download & watch them in real time. It would be great if there was a way to download them with FTP or Bit Torrent and then play them straight from my hard drive. Does anyone know how to do that? Or, if the collection were available on a CD. Terry, I don't know if it is possible to just download it. The videos are played with Adobe Flash Player, and the menus don't show any option to save the video. I also checked the EAA store, but I did not find those videos there. I would suggest writing to the webmaster ( webmaster@eaa.org ) or calling 800-564-6322. There are programs which will capture flash video from the web site. An example is: http://www.web-video-downloader.com/ There are plenty of others; it just depeneds on which you personally like. There are other programs which will convert the flash video to something a little more conventional, like mpeg2. Or, if you don't object to flash, you can save it that way and play it on your computer. -- ============================================ Do not archive. ============================================ Jim B Belcher BS, MS Physics, Math, Computer Science A&P/IA Retired aerospace technical manager ============================================

Hi Bill, I used a product called Poly Zap. It's really little more than a crazy glue, but it does the job. You have to put about one drop each inch in the rubber groove to keep from getting it outside the boundary of the rubber. It holds great! From: "leinad" <leinad@hughes.net>
I've already cut the hole for my LRI probe in the wingskin, but I wonder if someone has an opinion about placement. When I chose the placement I didn't consider that the vent tube for one of the tanks will come down in front of the probe not too far away. Could this cause enough air disturbance to intefere with the probe? I put behind the spar at rib 6. Thinking of patching the hole and moving it to rib 7. Anyone using these, where do you place yours?
