Gig--The photos of my installation that Craig posted works very well. I set it up as a "proof of concept", and it worked so well I put finishing touches on it and left it. It is made with model airplane clevises and wheel collars, and actually measures the movement of the limit switch arm. It is adjustable to fine tune the movement of the sensor arm. I'm not flying yet, but I don't foresee any problems with it. Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=266256#266256

You would have to adapt the design a little if you have the new style flap motor. But the basic concept would carry over nicely. -- Craig -----Original Message----- From: owner-zenith-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-zenith-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of rgeese Sent: Saturday, October 03, 2009 8:36 AM Subject: Zenith-List: Re: RAC Position Sensor for Flaps Gig--The photos of my installation that Craig posted works very well.
