Even though the number of List subscriptions and List posts are up significantly this year compared to last year, support during this year's List Fund Raiser has been woefully lagging from last year. There are only a couple more days left in November and the end of the Fund Raiser is quickly approaching. I have always preferred a non-commercial List experience as many, many members have also expressed that they do as well. However, if the yearly fund raiser cannot generate sufficient funds to keep the bills paid on the List service expenses, I will have to look into some sort of advertising. Please don't let that happen! Your personal contribution of $20 or $30 goes a long ways to keeping the operation a float. The lunch combo at Carl's Jr costs nearly $10 these days. Isn't the List worth at least as much as a couple of burgers? Please make sure your name is on this year's List of Contributors published in December. The Contribution site is secure, quick, and easy: http://www.matronics.com/contribution Thank you in advance for your support! I am really sorry about the developments. I am not trying to interfere with the change process involving the two models. But I would like to add a comment that I have not seen so far. If I had to make those changes, I would involve a technical counselor of the local EAA chapter. Specifically, I would make the changes, and before closing up anything, would ask a technical counselor come over, examine everything, and make an annotation in the builder's log that everything was done according to plan. This would be insurance that I had done everything right, and also create documentation of that fact, in case any question arises later. It would be consistent with general practice involving the EAA during construction of an experimental plane. Best wishes and rapid progress on this work wishes you Klaus ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 06:19:23 AM PST US From: Bill Pagan Subject: Re: Zenith-List: Comment on 601XL and 650 changes The Tech Counselor cannot make an entry in your log but you can make the en try that he/she came by and the Tech Counselor will fill out a visit form y ou can attach.- Don't know how far that will go but it sure won't hurt.
