Chris Brother makes a TZ-135 1/2" tape that is White on Clear. This is not sold in most office stores. I had to order it on line. The model p-touch that I have is a 1180 but there is likely newer or other models that handle this tape cartridge. Also check out this company. One of our builders recently did his panel very professionally with this technique. http://www.pulsarprofx.com/decalpro/Horizontal/a_Company/Company.html Gary Ray ----- Original Message ----- From: "chris Sinfield" <chris_sinfield@yahoo.com.au> Sent: Monday, November 30, 2009 12:57 AM Subject: Zenith-List: Brother pTouch > <chris_sinfield@yahoo.com.au> > > Gang > what model Brother P touch should I get for my Inst labeling ?? > I want to do white on clear > Chris > > > Read this topic online here: > > http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=275387#275387 > > >

Chris I use a PT-2100. Very nice as you can prepare all labels on your PC and print via the USB-port. My panel is brown/grey, however I use a white letters on black tape. I like the look (see: http://www.pohltec.ch/ZodiacXL/00_InstrumentPanel/index.html). Chris, I have a Brother P-Touch Model No. PT-1880. I used white on clear on my panel. The panel is painted with Rustoleum Dark Machine Gray, and the wh ite letters show up just fine. This machine takes 3/4" wide tapes, so som e of the labels must be trimmed to fit in limited spaces. Jay Bannister com.au> Gang what model Brother P touch should I get for my Inst labeling ?? I want to do white on clear Chris

I have a PT-330 that will take up to a 1 inch wide tape. I have placed some labels on a trailer I own some 7 years ago and they are still in fine shape even being out in the Texas sun and rain constantly. They have a bunch of models, some of which are computer driven. Here is the Brother website: http://www.brother-usa.com/ptouch/ -------- do not archive Regards, Bob Tezyk N78QT - 601XL QB/ Jab3300 Working on the Wings http://neo.datamatrix.com/eaglesnestestates/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=32&catid=23 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=275534#275534
