I just returned home from a very informative "Hands on Workshop" learning the dos
and don'ts for the Upgrade package. Fly with Gus at Edgewater, Florida put
on a great learning experience. If he has another I would recommend every one
who can to attend.
One thing we learned is to support the fuselage when the center section is removed.
The weight of the tail and aft fuselage using the landing gear as a pivot
can bend the fragile skin particularly if it is bumped. You may want to tape
off the area if you have visitors in your work area.
Another thing is to be sure you keep the built in twist in the ailerons when installing
the new gussets and balance weights.
Roger from ZAC was there and worked with Gus and offered a lot of tips and advice.
I think we all learned from each other as well.
We were not able to complete the center section since the upgrade kit was not complete
but Roger says they will start shipping the kits before Christmas.

General Aviation (GA) News did an artical on the Zodiac grounding and upgrade in
last weeks issue. I just got home and see that the Zenair News has arived to.
It's an hour before Monday night chat, so I'm going to look over Zenair News
before then.
