    From: "mosquito56" <mosquito-56@HOTMAIL.COM>
While reading the upholstery link, Juan mentioned that as long as the engine and prop are balanced vibration should be minimized. I installed my prop last night and will be doing engine starts soon and was wondering how to balance and engine and a prop? -------- Don Merritt- Laredo, Tx Apologies if I seem antagonistic. I believe in the freeflowing ideas and discussions between individuals for assistance in this thing we call life. for 250.00 aprox, you can google a dynamic prop balance person to do it for you. you put the results in your log book, it helps maintain the planes value. -----Original Message----- >From: mosquito56 <mosquito-56@HOTMAIL.COM> >Sent: Apr 11, 2010 1:29 PM >To: zenith-list@matronics.com >Subject: Zenith-List: Engine and prop balance > > >While reading the upholstery link, Juan mentioned that as long as the engine and prop are balanced vibration should be minimized. > I installed my prop last night and will be doing engine starts soon and was wondering how to balance and engine and a prop? > >-------- >Don Merritt- Laredo, Tx > Apologies if I seem antagonistic. > I believe in the freeflowing ideas and discussions between individuals for assistance in this thing we call life. > > >Read this topic online here: > >http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=293857#293857 > >

I agree with Juan 100%.. The $250.00 figure is about the max I have ever seen for a good dynamic balance job.. I balance mine at every prop blad e change and it averages 160.00 or so. It is amazing how well it reduce s vibrations.. But ..... I still am a firm believer in Temperfoam for th e seat bottoms. Probably the best 50 bucks you will ever spend. YMMV do not archive Ben Haas N801BH www.haaspowerair.com ---------- Original Message ---------- From: Juan Vega <amyvega2005@earthlink.net> Subject: Re: Zenith-List: Engine and prop balance for 250.00 aprox, you can google a dynamic prop balance person to do it for you. you put the results in your log book, it helps maintain the planes value. -----Original Message----- >From: mosquito56 <mosquito-56@HOTMAIL.COM> >Sent: Apr 11, 2010 1:29 PM >To: zenith-list@matronics.com >Subject: Zenith-List: Engine and prop balance > m> > >While reading the upholstery link, Juan mentioned that as long as the e ngine and prop are balanced vibration should be minimized. > I installed my prop last night and will be doing engine starts soon and was wondering how to balance and engine and a prop? > >-------- >Don Merritt- Laredo, Tx > Apologies if I seem antagonistic. > I believe in the freeflowing ideas and discussions between individual s for assistance in this thing we call life. > > >Read this topic online here: > >http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=293857#293857 > > ======================== =========== ======================== =========== ======================== =========== ======================== =========== ____________________________________________________________ Get Free Email with Video Mail & Video Chat! http://www.netzero.net/freeemail?refcd=NZTAGOUT1FREM0210
