The UK xls from CZAW kits would trim out perfectly with full flap. The UK xls
are all fitted with larger elevator trim tabs.
Following the modifications, the spring assist between flaps and elevators had
to be removed. Now even with the larger tabs they do not trim out with full flap,
beyond ab out half flap some back pressure is required.
The only good thing is that pitch stability in the cruise is improved with the
spring assist removed.
So an enlarged trim tab may not be the answer (unless significantly larger than
the UK ones).
