In Regard to formation flying, a friend of mine and I do considerable
formation flying together. We both have 601HDS's. I have the Jab 3300
engine, he's using a Rotax 912s. The planes are good formation flyers.
Highly responsive in pitch and roll. Also plenty of power and very little
inertia. So we are able to hold position quite well. Do recommend buying
the formation flying video series sold through EAA if you were not trained
in the military.
