Subject: | Dual Stick Question |
Hey guys and gals
I have a question about the dual sticks in a 601. I am installing the
center console and with the console in place, when the sticks are moved
to the right the elevator horn on the torque tube hits the inside of
the console. I am assuming that when the cables and stops are installed
the stick travel will be restricted and this will no longer happen. Can
someone who has been there reassure me on my thinking or advise me on
what I need to change? On a completed, upgraded, 601 how much left to
right travel is there, in the sticks, with the elevator at neutral?
Thanks
Carroll Jernigan

The stop added behind the seats as a part of the modification kit limits the
travel. I still had to put in adel clamps, and route the cables out of the way
of the horn. I can provide you photos of what I did, if that will help.
