From: "Joe" <backstagelive@gmail.com> Don't take for granted that the engine mount is perfect because it came from the factory! Mine was way way off to the right and down! Jab said there were a few bad ones out there and mine was one of them. I sent it back and they returned to me a new mount that worked out. Take measurements befor you prime and paint the thing! Joe

From: "n801bh@netzero.com" <n801bh@netzero.com> Good point and I would like to add.. DON'T trim the cowling to fit any m ount because if the mount is wrong and places the motor in the wrong lo cation then your trimmed cowl that used the incorrect prop centerline i s now junk... Fitting cowlings should only have to be done once. Triple check the mount BEFORE you trim the cowl. !!! do not archive Ben Haas N801BH www.haaspowerair.com ---------- Original Message ---------- From: "Joe" <backstagelive@gmail.com> Subject: Zenith-List: Re: First flight of N316JL Don't take for granted that the engine mount is perfect because it came from the factory! From: Jerry <jlatimer1@cox.net> I will double check the motor mount. I did not have to trim the cowling. The prop hub is in the center of the opening in the front. Jerry
