Hey Guys!
The Sabrina Mark 1 took to the air again in calm skies above Sugar Grove, Illinois
this morning! This was its first flight since SAIB CE-10-08 was issued.
Although I addressed each issue raised by the FAA in my own way, I am pleased
with the results so far.
As anticipated, placing 15 feet of 1 inch round tubing into the air stream slowed
the airplane by 15 knots in level flight at 2450 RPMs as compared to last
year's numbers.
I could use some suggestions on which NACA number and materials to use for my strut
fairings.
Please and thank you,
Sabrina
P.S. Update: I was recently awarded the IATA Industry Achievement Award and a
CABAA scholarship to MIT. That, combined with other scholarship money and incentives,
has reduced my cost of attending MIT this year to a $996 unsubsidized
Stafford Loan. This would never have happened without this list's help over
the years. Thank you all so much! I will move my Cessna 150L to Hanscom AFB
next month as soon as my fingerprints clear and I pass my DPE practical. (98%
on the writtenHow do you know which runway you are on? The big white number
at the end is the wrong answer for some reason.)

Congratulations Sabrina.
I didn't understand all those alphabet soup names, but it all sounds good. I wish
you the best of luck at MIT. It is a very hard school and I hope you can
roll with the punches.
Hang in there,
Paul
