You shouldn't have to calibrate them if the senders are the correct ones for the
gauges. The gauges are designed to work with senders with a specific resistance
range. If your gauges are only reading 1/3, I suspect you have a mismatch.
I don't even think there is any internal calibration provision in these gauges.

in future when flying if needed) when grounded and properly hooked up show
about 1/3 full, then go to MT when the sender arm is moved opposite. I 'm sure
they have to be adjusted/calibrated, is the little hole next to the + terminal
the access? I see a slot in there and tried to turn it but wouldn't budge.....
they came with my kit from ZAC #301 015D

Thanks for the responses. It really irks me that the included parts from my kit
don't match - Checking the ohms on them shows that now.
I'll either go for new ones or seriously consider an EIS for at least the engine,
fuel, amm. etc. side of the panel.
Thanks again, Dave

If the parts in your kit don't match, Zenith will probably send you the correct
ones at no charge. They've been very good about correcting such mistakes in the
past.
