The gauges are designed to work with senders with a specific resistance range. If your gauges are only reading 1/3, I suspect you have a mismatch. I don't even think there is any internal calibration provision in these gauges. I 'm sure they have to be adjusted/calibrated, is the little hole next to the + terminal the access? I see a slot in there and tried to turn it but wouldn't budge..... they came with my kit from ZAC #301 015D > > Would really appreciate any help with this, thanks. > > Dave > 601XL almost done w/upgrade > -- Bryan Martin N61BM, CH 601 XL, RAM Subaru, Stratus redrive. do not archive. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 07:43:44 AM PST US From: Carlos Sa Subject: Zenith-List: XLB test flight FYI, found this on zeith.aero: http://www.zenith.aero/profiles/blogs/zodiac-ch601xlb-flight-test Carlos Ch601-HD, plans ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 12:39:02 PM PST US Subject: Zenith-List: Re: Fuel gauge calibration From: "vayuwings" Thanks for the responses. It really irks me that the included parts from my kit don't match - Checking the ohms on them shows that now. I'll either go for new ones or seriously consider an EIS for at least the engine, fuel, amm. etc. side of the panel. Thanks again, Dave Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=305335#305335 ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 12:47:16 PM PST US Subject: Re: Zenith-List: Re: Fuel gauge calibration From: Bryan Martin If the parts in your kit don't match, Zenith will probably send you the correct ones at no charge. They've been very good about correcting such mistakes in the past. On Jul 18, 2010, at 3:38 PM, vayuwings wrote: > > Thanks for the responses.
