This list, like all the others, has posters suffering from the "Moses"
syndrome. That is, they believe they are the only ones that God(or the FAA
or NTSB or their attorneys or public relation types) speaks the "truth: to;
and it is their purpose to deliver the commandments to the great unwashed
masses. As a humble suggestion, if you wish to post the "truth" as related
to you by a third party, get their name and occupation and qualifications
before relating their opinion to the group. If the relator won't stand by
his statement in a public forum, it isn't entitled to any more credibility
than anyone else.

Thought I'd send out a brief update on my recently completed ZenVair. I've finally
completed the Zenith upgrade. Yesterday I had the pitot/static & transponder
system tested and signed off. Then Doug Dugger (Zenith expert from Quality
Sport Planes) flew down from Cloverdale with fellow Zodiac builder, Woody Harris.
Together, along with Zodiac builder, Rick Lindstrom, they went over my
plane with a fine-toothed comb. We came up with a full page of minor squawks,
but nothing major or unsafe. I'll tell you, I was sweating bullets watching
them inside, over & under my plane with flashlights. A day or two to fix these
issues and I'll be ready for the FAA. I should be flying soon. Thanks to Doug,
Woody & Rick for their kind help yesterday. What a great community the Zenith
& Corvair builders have.
