Didn't Zenith and Czech Works also split over a difference in business philosophies?? Now Piper is splitting up with them over the same Zenith derived airframe. Would be nice to know the real stories behind both split-ups. http://www.aopa.org/aircraft/articles/2011/110113piper_terminates_pipersport_sales.html -------- David Gallagher 601 XL/Jabiru 3300 First flight 7/24/08 Upgraded 3/19/10 160+ hours and climbing! The good news is they were careful to be clear that there were no problems with the airplane itself. Rather this was a business relationship issue. This is not exactly the same company as the one Zenair/Zenith dealt with. That company went bankrupt and this one took over the assets and resumed business with the existing products. I feel sorry for anyone who purchased one of these airplanes. They face difficulties with maintenance and repairs (and resale prices) and don't have the benefit of experimental certificates that allow anyone to work on the planes. This should be an interesting test for the LSA community. Paul XL working on fuselage upgrade.
