Methylene chloride (dichloromethane) applied with a syringe works really well.
Or get some Weld-On acrylic adhesive.
Check with a local A&P mechanic, he may have some.

long. I stop drilled it and thought all was well. I noticed this past weekend
that it has advanced about another inch and a half straight up. I will again
stop drill. Does anyone know what will bond in the crack and will flow like water
so it will seep down the crack and not have a build-up. If I keep drilling
stop holes, that thing will start whistling like a pipe organ! Cant have that!!

      Rick,

Google acrylic glue and you'll see a good selection of inexpensive
products (averse the Aircraft Spruce options).

Most are locally available at hardware stores.

another local RV-6 guy fixed his canopy with some type of watery
adhesive and a syringe.. I will try to get the name of the product.

Rick, two things----1: Drill a slightly larger hole. 2: Call Fantastic
Plastics in midtown. One of their products (can't recall the name) is a
watery solvent, comes in a small bottle, works pretty good. Don 't ask
      me how I know.

I don't have one but I have to ask what happened to the original?
I just finished installing mine and I'm still scared something will
      happen to it.

Glad to help. One more thing: A medical facility that does blood tests,
cholesterol screenings, and such, uses very thin pipettes, which are an
excellent way to apply the thin solvent. You might want to scrounge a
couple, instead of brushing it on.
