Or get some Weld-On acrylic adhesive. Check with a local A&P mechanic, he may have some. On Mar 29, 2011, at 3:48 PM, Beckman, Rick wrote: > Please pardon me for chiming in here. I have a small crack in mine about midway back on the pilot side. It just appeared and was about one inch long. I stop drilled it and thought all was well. I noticed this past weekend that it has advanced about another inch and a half straight up. I will again stop drill. Does anyone know what will bond in the crack and will flow like water so it will seep down the crack and not have a build-up. If I keep drilling stop holes, that thing will start whistling like a pipe organ! Rick, Google acrylic glue and you'll see a good selection of inexpensive products (averse the Aircraft Spruce options). Most are locally available at hardware stores. One of their products (can't recall the name) is a watery solvent, comes in a small bottle, works pretty good. Don 't ask me how I know. One more thing: A medical facility that does blood tests, cholesterol screenings, and such, uses very thin pipettes, which are an excellent way to apply the thin solvent. You might want to scrounge a couple, instead of brushing it on. ----- Original Message ----- From: Beckman, Rick To: zenith-list@matronics.com Sent: Wednesday, March 30, 2011 4:18 PM Subject: RE: Zenith-List: 601 canopy Thanks, Paul!
